Construction Services Group is accepting applications/resumes for an experienced Project Manager. The Project Manager will work directly with our Field Staff, Subcontractors, Estimating Department, Office Staff, and Accounting departments. The Project Manager will provide clients with scope and specification development, permit execution, vendor coordination and quality assurance control systems. In addition, Project Manager will use proven communication skills and ability to foster client relationships to ensure the success of the project.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Develop the construction strategy. Establish communication procedures, including the appropriate chain of command for all communications, for projects and set up an appropriate tracking system for necessary approvals. Oversee construction activities, including coordination of subcontractors and Owner contracted services and/or products. Conduct design coordination meetings, pre-construction meetings, site inspections, punch list meeting and final project closeout. Establish meeting procedures and timetables. Ensure the construction project complies with all building codes and any other legal or regulatory requirements. When delays or problems occur
- as they always do
- the project manager is the project's first responder, ready to make the changes required to move the project past the issue Ensure project documentation is accurate and coordinated.
Prepare owner billings Reviews all subcontractor billings Coordinates and collaborates with the architects, engineers and specialists. Prepares updated project schedules Provide updated progress reports on projects based on client requirements. Upkeeps drawing logs and other construction documents as needed Prepares submittals and change orders as they arise Review all requests for information, changes requests, etc. and issue appropriate response. Sets up owner and sub meetings throughout the job Prepares cost projections for management review during the life of the project. Make regular jobsite visits to review job Ensure close out package is properly prepared for clients Identify and resolve issues that may affect project performance or client satisfaction
Qualifications:
Ability to interact and negotiate with clients and end users Good oral and written communication skills Proficient in Microsoft Office and Projects Ability to work well in a team environment Strong knowledge of construction means and methods including the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Experience in conducting site visits and producing written scope of work Ability to interact and negotiate with clients and end users Able to achieve goals with limited direct supervision Knowledge of both Commercial and Residential construction Highly professional and dependable Strong work ethic and good people skills Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Position will offer a competitive base salary.
