Job Description
Responsibilities:
Coordinate daily construction activities within an assigned area, ensuring work is executed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with project schedules. Act as a field liaison between contractors, subcontractors, engineering teams, and project management. Track installation progress and provide regular updates on construction status, constraints, and risks. Support lookahead planning (2-week / 6-week schedules) and assist in identifying potential schedule impacts. Monitor contractor performance, manpower levels, and work sequencing within the assigned area. Identify and escalate field issues, including design conflicts, material shortages, and installation challenges. Assist with resolution of RFIs (Requests for Information) and coordinate with engineering teams to clarify design intent. Participate in daily/weekly coordination meetings, safety briefings, and progress reviews. Ensure work is performed in compliance with project specifications, drawings, and quality standards. Support system turnover and commissioning activities by coordinating punch list completion and readiness. Maintain accurate field documentation, including daily reports, issue logs, and progress tracking tools. Promote and enforce Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) standards across all site activities. Any other duties or responsibilities that may be assigned to you in your role.Skills Required:
3-5 years of experience in construction coordination, field engineering, or similar role (internship experience considered). Experience in industrial, high-tech, or semiconductor construction environments is a plus. Strong understanding of construction processes, sequencing, and field coordination. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings (P&IDs, layouts, electrical/mechanical plans). Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment. Effective communication skills with both technical teams and field personnel. Problem-solving mindset with the ability to identify and escalate issues proactively. Strong understanding of construction processes, sequencing, and field coordination. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings (P&IDs, layouts, electrical/mechanical plans).Education / Licenses
/ Certifications Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil), is required, however, Journeyman level trade experience will be applicable. Proof of education, licenses, and certifications will be required where applicableBenefits:
