Data Center / Mission Critical / Advanced Manufacturing Construction Electrical Superintendent PPG Staffing is recruiting an experienced Electrical Superintendent for a major data center construction project located within a large advanced manufacturing campus in Chandler, Arizona . This is a full-time contract opportunity supporting the buildout of a data center within an existing facility. The Electrical Superintendent will take ownership of field execution for the electrical scope and work closely with project management, subcontractors, engineering teams, commissioning personnel, and other field leadership. Data center or mission-critical construction experience is strongly preferred. We are looking for someone who understands the pace, coordination requirements, safety expectations, and electrical complexity associated with critical-facility construction. Responsibilities Provide day-to-day field leadership for electrical construction activities. Oversee electrical subcontractors and coordinate manpower, sequencing, and daily work activities. Coordinate electrical work with mechanical, controls, commissioning, and other construction disciplines. Review drawings, specifications, schedules, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation. Ensure electrical installations are completed according to project specifications, drawings, quality requirements, and applicable codes. Monitor project schedule and identify potential delays, conflicts, or constructability issues. Coordinate material deliveries, equipment installation, and subcontractor activities. Participate in project coordination and construction meetings. Work closely with project managers, engineers, field teams, and commissioning personnel. Manage electrical scope through installation, testing, startup, commissioning, and turnover. Maintain a strong focus on jobsite safety and quality. Track field progress and communicate schedule, manpower, and project issues to project leadership. Assist with resolving field conflicts and coordinating changes in scope. Support project documentation, inspections, punch lists, and closeout activities. Qualifications Strong experience as an Electrical Superintendent, Area Superintendent, Electrical General Foreman, Electrical Project Superintendent, or similar construction leadership role . Experience with data center, mission-critical, semiconductor, advanced manufacturing, industrial, or other technically complex construction projects strongly preferred. Data center construction experience is highly desirable. Strong understanding of commercial and industrial electrical construction. Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and construction documents. Experience coordinating electrical subcontractors and multiple construction disciplines. Understanding of project scheduling, sequencing, RFIs, submittals, quality control, and commissioning. Strong field leadership and communication skills. Ability to identify construction conflicts and drive issues through resolution. Strong commitment to safety and quality. Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, large-project environment. Must be able to work onsite in Chandler, Arizona . Preferred Experience Experience involving electrical systems within data center or mission-critical environments is especially valuable, including: Electrical power distribution Switchgear and electrical equipment Emergency and backup power systems UPS systems Generators Critical power infrastructure Electrical rooms Controls and building systems Equipment startup and commissioning Data center or mission-critical facility turnover About the Opportunity This position offers the opportunity to support a highly technical data center project within one of the largest advanced manufacturing environments in the Phoenix market.
