Our project teams primarily perform PPL / pumping line hook-up piping installation, equipment piping maintenance, and related jobsite support at a major semiconductor manufacturing project in North Phoenix. We are seeking a Bilingual Construction Coordinator (Mandarin Chinese / English) to support our field operations and help coordinate communication between Taiwan-based or Mandarin-speaking project personnel and U.S.-based construction teams. This is a field-focused construction coordination position. The Construction Coordinator will work closely with project managers, supervisors, field crews, engineers, QC, Safety, and other project stakeholders to support safe and efficient execution of piping installation activities. Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Project Engineer Assistant to provide administrative, operational, and coordination support to the Engineering Department on TSMC semiconductor construction projects in Arizona. This entry-level role supports engineers with documentation, material tracking, vendor coordination, and project administration to ensure smooth project execution in a highly regulated semiconductor environment. The ideal candidate is bilingual in English and Mandarin , organized, proactive, and comfortable supporting multiple tasks in a fast-paced project setting. Key Responsibilities Serve as a primary communication bridge between Mandarin-speaking Taiwan project personnel and English-speaking U.S. construction teams. Provide accurate Mandarin-English interpretation during jobsite meetings, field walk-downs, daily coordination discussions, construction planning, and issue resolution. Assist field supervisors and project management with the daily coordination of PPL / pumping line hook-up piping installation, equipment piping maintenance, and related construction activities. Communicate construction priorities, work instructions, schedule changes, technical concerns, and field conditions clearly between Taiwan and U.S. teams. Track daily construction progress and assist with coordination of manpower, materials, tools, access, and work areas. Conduct or participate in field walk-downs to review installation areas, piping routes, work readiness, and construction status. Identify field coordination issues, installation conflicts, delays, or communication gaps and promptly communicate them to the appropriate supervisor or project manager. Coordinate with field crews, project management, QC, Safety, engineers, contractors, vendors, and other project stakeholders as required. Assist with daily reports, progress updates, field documentation, meeting notes, action-item tracking, and other project records. Help communicate project procedures, jobsite requirements, and construction expectations to field personnel. Support QA/QC inspection readiness, punch-list activities, rework coordination, and completion tracking when needed. Maintain professional communication and productive working relationships between multicultural and cross-functional project teams. Follow all company and project-site safety requirements and immediately report observed safety concerns to the appropriate personnel. Qualifications Fluent spoken Mandarin Chinese and English is required. Ability to communicate technical and construction-related information clearly and accurately between Mandarin-speaking and English-speaking personnel. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with employees and project personnel from different cultural and professional backgrounds. Strong organizational, follow-up, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, active semiconductor construction environment and manage multiple priorities. Previous experience working with multicultural project teams, particularly U.S. and Taiwan-based teams. Written communication skills in both English and Chinese.
OSHA 10, OSHA
30, or other construction safety training is a plus. Work Environment This position is primarily performed on an active semiconductor construction site. The employee must be comfortable walking and standing for extended periods, attending field walk-downs, wearing required PPE, and working around active construction operations. The position requires frequent interaction with field personnel and may require flexibility to support project schedules and changing construction priorities.
