Join Our Team at First Response Health & Safety! First Response Health & Safety is seeking a dependable, motivated, and experienced Site Supervisor to join our team and provide leadership and operational oversight at an active construction site. As a Site Supervisor, you will serve as a key member of our onsite leadership team. You will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, supporting onsite Occupational Health Technicians (OHTs), maintaining strong communication with client and site management, and ensuring First Response Health & Safety standards are consistently followed. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator and leader who is comfortable working in a fast-paced construction environment and can effectively coordinate personnel, respond to changing site needs, and maintain a professional relationship with clients, workers, subcontractors, and First Response leadership. Qualifications Paramedic, EMT, or LPN certification Experience in occupational health, emergency medical services, construction safety, or a related field preferred Strong understanding of workplace safety and health practices Current CPR/BLS certification Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving abilities Positive, professional, and outgoing personality Comfortable working in an active construction environment Ability to work independently while effectively managing and supporting a team Competent in using web-based applications, Microsoft Office, electronic documentation systems, and other software programs Ability to communicate effectively with employees, clients, subcontractors, and management Nights and/or weekends may be required based on project needs Must be dependable, punctual, and able to maintain confidentiality and professionalism Preferred Qualifications Minimum 1 year of supervisory or leadership experience Previous experience supervising personnel in a construction or occupational health environment OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 construction safety certification CPR/First Aid Instructor certification Experience working directly with construction site safety teams Experience with employee health, injury management, or occupational health services Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills Experience with electronic medical records or patient care reporting software Responsibilities The Site Supervisor will oversee the day-to-day operations of First Response Health & Safety personnel assigned to the construction site. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Provide daily leadership, direction, and support to onsite OHT personnel. Ensure OHTs are following First Response Health & Safety protocols, policies, and procedures. Coordinate staffing, schedules, coverage, and daily assignments. Serve as a primary point of contact between First Response Health & Safety, site management, safety personnel, and client representatives. Maintain professional and effective communication with clients, site management, workers, subcontractors, and First Response leadership. Monitor onsite health and safety operations and identify areas requiring additional support or resources. Assist with the coordination and response to workplace injuries and illnesses. Ensure appropriate documentation and follow-up of workplace injuries and employee health cases. Monitor completion and accuracy of patient care reports, injury documentation, drug and alcohol screening records, and other required documentation. Support drug and alcohol testing programs and ensure established protocols are followed. Assist with employee wellness initiatives and onsite health promotion activities. Participate in site safety meetings, toolbox talks, orientations, and other site-related meetings as appropriate. Maintain awareness of site-specific safety requirements and client expectations. Identify operational issues and communicate them promptly to First Response management. Assist with onboarding and training of new OHT personnel. Provide coaching, guidance, and constructive feedback to team members. Help maintain consistent customer service standards across the site. Ensure onsite medical equipment, supplies, and work areas are maintained and adequately stocked. Assist with inventory management and communicate supply needs to leadership. Maintain confidentiality of employee and patient information. Support incident investigations and provide documentation or information as requested. Build and maintain strong working relationships with construction site safety teams and client representatives. Promote a positive culture of professionalism, teamwork, safety, and accountability. Perform other duties as assigned by First Response Health & Safety leadership. Work Environment This position is based in an active construction environment. The Site Supervisor may be required to work outdoors and around heavy equipment, elevated work areas, construction materials, noise, dust, changing weather conditions, and other jobsite hazards. Pay:
$28.00 - $32.00 per hour
