Job Description

Superintendent (Construction) Temac Development, Inc. is seeking a dedicated, high-energy Construction Superintendent to join our team. This is a full-time, salaried position responsible for managing field operations, subcontractors, and vendors across a diverse portfolio, including high-end residential, commercial, and hospitality projects. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader who thrives on precision, quality craftsmanship, and maintaining a safe, organized job site. You will work closely with Principals, Project Managers, and the estimating team to ensure every project is delivered to the highest standard. Key ResponsibilitiesField Management & Scheduling Drive the
Schedule:
Generate and monitor progress schedules; provide a minimum 3-week look-ahead to ensure zero downtime.
Trade Coordination:
Schedule all trades and vendors well in advance; verify contract documents and material availability before work begins.
Site Layout:
Review exterior and interior layouts with trades to identify and resolve conflicts before construction starts.
Logistics:
Coordinate surveyors, engineers, and building inspections; maintain detailed logs and upload reports to company systems.
Quality Control & Technical Oversight Blueprint Proficiency:
Expertly read and interpret blueprints, SKs, shop drawings, and mechanical/civil plans.
Design Fidelity:
Ensure millwork, plumbing, and electrical layouts strictly adhere to interior design specs from rough-in to completion.
Material Inspection:
Inspect and document all deliveries via photographs; ensure secure on-site storage to prevent theft or damage.
Punch List Management:
Proactively generate punch lists by trade; walk through with Architects/Owners and ensure timely completion.
Safety & Compliance Safety Leadership:
Enforce Temac's Safety Plan; conduct and document weekly Toolbox Talks .
Documentation:
Maintain daily job logs, diaries, narratives, and photographs within BuilderTrend and Dropbox .
Regulatory:
Ensure all trades comply with PPE requirements and maintain a clean, organized, and safe site daily.
Financial & Administrative Support Scope Review:
Participate in scope reviews to ensure no gaps or overlaps in trade contracts.
Change Orders:
Identify potential changes in the field; ensure no extra work is performed without a written, executed Change Order.
Resource Tracking:
Confirm subcontractors provide sufficient workforce and hours to meet performance commitments.
Qualifications Experience:
Proven track record in high-end residential, commercial, and hospitality construction.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in BuilderTrend , Dropbox , and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
Certifications:
Minimum
OSHA 10/30
certification and a valid Driver's License.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift 40-50 lbs and remain active on-site throughout the day.
