We are looking for an organized, proactive, and dependable Assistant Project Manager to join our construction team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys keeping projects organized, communicating with different teams, and making sure things keep moving. You'll work closely with our Project Managers, field crews, subcontractors, and clients throughout all stages of a project. We're looking for someone who takes initiative, follows through, and isn't afraid to ask questions or jump in where needed. Responsibilities Assist Project Managers with multiple active construction projects Track schedules, deadlines, inspections, permits, materials, and outstanding items Coordinate and follow up with subcontractors, field crews, vendors, and clients Assist with bids, proposals, pricing, and project documentation Schedule inspections and track corrections through completion Attend project meetings and follow up on action items Help identify scheduling or coordination issues before they become problems Assist with final inspections and project closeout Keep project files and records organized and up to date Provide general project and administrative support as needed Qualifications Previous experience in construction, project coordination, or project management General understanding of construction plans, permitting, scheduling, and terminology Strong organization and time-management skills Comfortable managing multiple projects and priorities Strong communication and follow-through Detail-oriented, dependable, and willing to take initiative Comfortable working with clients, subcontractors, and field personnel Proficient with Microsoft Office, email, and spreadsheets Able to work independently and as part of a team Construction moves quickly, and we need someone who can keep up with it. The right person will take ownership of their work, communicate when something needs attention, and help make sure nothing falls through the cracks. This position offers a great opportunity to gain hands-on construction management experience and grow into a larger Project Manager role within the company.
Pay:
$55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
