20+ years' experience in the design of Fire Alarm Systems; with at least 10 years working with systems of significant size and complexity; and at least 5 years working with 3D design software (Revit preferred) Forward thinking individual with a focus on efficiency and growth. Best candidate will be one that never stops trying to improve. Ability to lead a National Design Team of 30+ designers; serving in both, in-office and remote positions. Supervises designer's tasks and schedules Reviews designer drawings to comply with department standards Monitors design hours for profitability/efficiently

Project Leadership:

Oversee the planning, design, and execution of fire alarm system projects from concept to completion, ensuring adherence to contracts, budgets, timelines, and scope.

Design Oversight:

Review design documents for quality assurance, ensuring code compliance (e.g., NFPA, IBC, IECC) and suitability for project requirements.

Technical Support:

Provide design direction, guidance, and support to the team during bidding, permitting, and construction phases

Collaboration:

Work with clients, engineers, contractors, and inspecting authorities to align designs with safety regulations and customer needs.

Coordination:

work with Project Managers; Superintendents; Installers; Technicians; and Service Teams to remedy field/design conflicts.

Mentorship:

Lead and mentor junior designers and support staff, fostering team growth and best practices Budget conscious: in both efficiency of system design and execution of design budgets
