Project Manager - Commercial Plumbing San Diego, CA Position Overview A growing commercial plumbing contractor is seeking a motivated and organized Project Manager to support its expanding new construction and tenant improvement division. This role is well-suited for a professional who thrives in dynamic environments and can manage projects from initial pricing through closeout while collaborating closely with field teams, general contractors, and clients. Key Responsibilities Manage awarded projects from kickoff through completion Coordinate project schedules, material procurement, and labor resources Track job costs, labor productivity, and overall project performance Oversee submittals, RFIs, and change order processes Participate in job site visits and coordination meetings Maintain clear communication with general contractors, clients, and field teams Ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards Project Types Technology office tenant improvements Medical office TI projects R D and laboratory environments Food service facilities Educational facilities Automotive-related projects Commercial office buildouts Fast-track renovation and interior construction projects Qualifications 3+ years of experience in commercial plumbing project management Strong knowledge of commercial plumbing systems and construction processes Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications Experience managing multiple fast-paced projects simultaneously Proficiency with Bluebeam, Excel, Procore, and project management software (Trimble experience is a plus) Strong organizational and communication skills Compensation and Benefits Salary range: $110,000 - $150,000 annually (DOE) Company vehicle or vehicle allowance, gas card, and company phone Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, life, and long-term disability insurance 401(k) with company match (50% match up to 4%) Paid time off and paid holidays Annual performance reviews with potential compensation adjustments
