Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent for a project-based position within Orange County to oversee trades and manage daily on-site activities for multi-family projects. Projects will be new construction. The successful candidate must possess the knowledge, experience, and confidence to engage and professionally interact with design professionals, consultants, and clients. Responsibilities include directing sub-contractors and other construction related personnel, planning, coordinating, and safely executing work in accordance with the contract documents, schedule, and budget. This individual will work closely with General Superintendent, Project Manager and fulfill an integral role on each assigned project. Following this project this position may require travel to other locations within Southern or Northern California. Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Minimum 10 years' experience for a General Contracting firm in the field
Experience working with Orange County permitting jurisdictions is a plus
Experience with PEMB, Conventional steel buildings, Commercial class A Construction, and large concrete production
Strong ability to read and interpret plans and specs
Must be functional at computer use as a means for communication (Word, Excel, Project)
Associate's degree or higher in Construction or related technical field is a plus
Procore project management software (or similar software) experience is a plus
Excellent organizational, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Must understand the importance of safety and quality on a job site
Submittal review and shop drawing review experience
