Traveling / Nationwide About the Opportunity Our client is a leading builder in the mission-critical/data center space, delivering large-scale, complex projects across the U.S. This role supports high-profile data center builds with significant electrical and mechanical infrastructure scope. Position Summary Our client is seeking a Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale data center projects. This is a travel-based role with responsibility for managing budgets, schedules, contracts, and client relationships on complex, fast-track builds. The ideal candidate has experience in data center or mission-critical construction, with a strong background in heavy electrical and MEP infrastructure. This individual will play a key role in coordinating across engineering, procurement, and field teams to ensure successful project delivery. This role also supports and manages significant self-perform work scopes, requiring strong coordination with field leadership and an understanding of direct-hire construction operations. Key Responsibilities Manage all phases of project delivery from preconstruction through closeout Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and forecasts Oversee subcontractor procurement, contracts, and performance Coordinate closely with superintendents and field teams to drive execution Manage client relationships and serve as the primary point of contact Track project progress and proactively address risks, delays, and cost impacts Ensure compliance with contract requirements, safety standards, and quality expectations Support planning and execution of complex scopes including: Generator and transformer yard installations Heavy electrical and MEP infrastructure Liquid-cooled mechanical systems Oversee and coordinate self-perform scopes, including: Medium voltage electrical work Equipment foundations (transformer pads, generator pads, duct banks) Underground utilities Mechanical piping (partial scope) Precast support systems, including underground dead men Owner-furnished equipment (OFE) setting Qualifications 5-10+ years of construction project management experience Experience on data center or mission-critical projects preferred Strong background in electrical, MEP, or heavy civil scopes Experience managing budgets, schedules, and subcontractors on complex builds Familiarity with self-perform work and coordination with field teams Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to operate in a fast-paced, travel-based role Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary Performance-based bonuses Per diem and travel accommodations ($2000 per week) Comprehensive benefits package (health, dental, vision, 401k, etc.) Opportunity to work on large-scale, cutting-edge data center projects Send resume to mitchell.guerrieri@gogpac.com for more information
