Job Summary:
The Construction Project Manager is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating construction projects from initiation through completion. This role ensures projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards and client expectations. The Project Manager oversees scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and execution while maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. This position reports to the Operations Manager and Company CEO/Owner. Supervisory Responsibilities
- Provides direction and oversight to Project Superintendents and field personnel.
- Coordinates and manages subcontractors, vendors, and consultants.
- May participate in staffing decisions, performance feedback, and team development.
- Leads project teams to ensure alignment with project goals and company standards.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Plan, manage, and execute all phases of construction projects.
- Develop, monitor, and update project schedules; coordinate with Superintendents on schedule execution.
- Prepare and manage project budgets, cost tracking, and financial reporting.
- Review and approve invoices, pay applications, and subcontractor payments.
- Prepare bid packages, solicit proposals, and negotiate and administer subcontracts.
- Monitor project quality and ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and applicable codes and regulations.
- Identify and resolve project issues, including design conflicts, errors, and omissions.
- Manage change orders affecting project scope, cost, and schedule.
- Lead project meetings and provide progress updates to stakeholders.
- Coordinate labor, materials, and equipment resources.
- Promote strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Support proposal development, preconstruction activities, and client presentations as needed.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Strong project management, leadership, and organizational skills.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety standards.
- Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore), scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office.

- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
- 4-10 years of construction project management experience.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Physical Requirements:
- Frequent sitting, standing, walking, and use of a computer and communication devices.
- Must be able to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
- Required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE). Work Environment
- Work is performed in both office and active construction site environments.
- Ability to travel to and navigate construction job sites.
- Regular communication via email, phone, and in-person meetings with team members and stakeholders.
