Job Description:
AMI is seeking experienced Travel Directors in the San Fracisco Bay area to support corporate meetings and events on a project-by-project contract basis . This is an excellent opportunity for seasoned event professionals who enjoy working onsite, partnering with experienced meeting planners, and delivering a seamless experience for clients and attendees.
What You'll Do:
Serve as a representative of AMI with professionalism, poise, and a solutions-oriented approach Partner closely with the Meeting Planner to ensure smooth execution of all onsite meeting logistics Manage the registration desk including name badge printing and attendee management Manage the Banquet event order and F&B logistics Review the accommodations list, manage check ins, and check outs Manage ground transportation Conduct any onsite printing and maintain proper signage and collateral Support the even production including A/V, Expo, and break out session management Build strong, professional relationships with clients, attendees, hotel partners, and vendors Anticipate needs, troubleshoot issues, and confidently handle onsite requests as they arise You'll need to have: One or more years of Travel Director experience Pharmaceutical meeting experience Established industry references Exceptional communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Comfortable working independently while collaborating with planners and onsite teams Professional presence and a strong commitment to client service Even better if you have: Experience working events with HCP attendees
