Job Description
Basic Assignment The Outpost Worship Leader (WL) is responsible for leading worship at a One Church outpost. They recruit and develop the volunteers of the One Church Worship ministry. As part of an outpost, the WL works to execute outpost-specific events and initiatives. In working with our Central Team, this individual contributes to the development of the worship experience across One Church.. Staff Relationship Part-Time (>25hrs), accountable to the Outpost Pastor and Creative Arts Pastor who will supervise, support, evaluate Works closely with the Creative Arts Pastor Practice Matthew 18 and show 100% support in all decisions made as a team Qualifications Biblical, Spirit-filled Christ follower, aligned with the vision and beliefs of One Church Kingdom-focus and joyous spirit in sharing God's love; high moral and spiritual integrity Skilled in singing and playing an instrument(s) Experienced in leading people in worship Experienced in leading volunteer teams Principle Duties Lead worship services at an outpost as well as online service recordings Lead outpost band and production volunteers Work with outpost staff on outpost-specific events and initiatives Work with worship staff on projects and initiatives assigned by the Creative Arts Pastor Specific Responsibilities Lead Sunday worship at an outpost, weekly. Lead worship with our Thursday night team, when assigned. Connect, communicate and care for outpost volunteers Coordinate a variety of music tools and resources for equipping volunteers Actively participate in projects assigned by Outpost Pastor or Creative Arts Pastor Skills and Abilities Leadership and communication skills Creative and intuitive Vocal ability and musical skill (melody and harmony, guitar and/or piano) Minimum of 3yrs experience in leading worship music.
