Projects range from smaller urban developments to 200-480+ unit multifamily communities and may include podium, affordable housing, modular/prefabricated construction, and complex ground-up developments. This role is ideal for someone with ground-up multifamily construction experience who wants to continue developing their field leadership skills and grow into a Superintendent position. Experience with podium construction is strongly preferred. Key Responsibilities Assist the Superintendent with daily field operations on ground-up multifamily construction projects Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, field personnel, inspections, and material deliveries Support podium, concrete, framing, building envelope, MEP, interior, and finish scopes Assist with look-ahead schedules, trade sequencing, and site logistics planning Monitor subcontractor manpower, productivity, and schedule performance Review drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and shop drawings Help identify field conflicts and constructability issues before they impact production Coordinate inspections and ensure upcoming work is ready for inspection Monitor quality control and ensure work is completed according to plans and specifications Support jobsite safety and enforce company and OSHA requirements Participate in subcontractor meetings, daily huddles, and project coordination meetings Maintain daily reports, progress photos, field documentation, and project logs Coordinate closely with Project Managers, Project Engineers, and field leadership Assist with punch lists, turnover, and final project closeout Requirements 3-7+ years of construction experience with a general contractor or multifamily builder Experience as an Assistant Superintendent, Field Engineer, Lead Foreman, or similar field position Ground-up multifamily construction experience strongly preferred Experience with apartments, condominiums, affordable housing, or other multifamily residential projects Podium construction experience strongly preferred Understanding of concrete, framing, MEP, building envelope, interiors, and finish construction Strong understanding of construction sequencing and subcontractor coordination Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, civil, and MEP drawings Experience coordinating inspections, deliveries, and field activities Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, schedule-driven field environment Preferred Experience 100+ unit ground-up multifamily developments Podium and urban multifamily construction Wood-frame multifamily construction Affordable and workforce housing Modular or prefabricated construction Ground-up apartment communities Multifamily renovations and repositioning projects Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, or similar construction management tools OSHA 30 certification preferred Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary based on experience Performance-based bonus potential Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) Paid holidays and PTO Clear career path into a Superintendent position Exposure to large-scale ground-up multifamily developments Long-term growth with a strong multifamily project pipeline
