•We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Construction Superintendent to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all stages of project life cycles, from initial planning and scheduling to final inspections and quality control. You will be tasked with managing a mid to large crew, ensuring all construction safety protocols are adhered to, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. This role requires a deep understanding of pre-engineered metal buildings (PEMB) and supervisory experience in erection projects.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and manage all aspects of construction projects from planning to implementation. 2. Supervise a mid to large crew, ensuring all tasks are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards. 3. Maintain a thorough understanding of pre-engineered metal buildings (PEMB) and ensure proper installation procedures are followed. 4. Establish and maintain effective and positive relationships with all project stakeholders. 5. Coordinate with subcontractors and manage their tasks effectively. 6. Ensure compliance with federal, state, regional, and local laws and regulations. 7. Develop and manage project schedules and budgets. 8. Perform risk management to minimize project risks. 9. Ensure all safety protocols and procedures are followed on the construction site. 10. Read and interpret construction drawings and plans effectively. 11. Solve any arising problems or delays in the construction process.
Qualifications:
1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a construction supervisory role, specifically with pre-engineered metal buildings (PEMB) and erection projects. 2. Proven experience in managing mid to large crews. 3. Excellent understanding of construction management processes, means and methods. 4. Strong knowledge of construction safety protocols and risk management. 5. Proficiency in project management and scheduling software. 6. Exceptional ability in reading and interpreting architectural drawings and plans. 7. Excellent problem-solving abilities. 8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 9. Proven ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously. 10. Solid understanding of federal, state, regional, and local construction laws and regulations. 11. Exceptional leadership and team management skills. 12. Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines. 13. Proficiency in budgeting and financial management. 14. Strong knowledge of construction planning and site management. 15. Proven experience in subcontractor management.
