Construction Foreman:
Tenant Improvements (multiple sites) Fresno, CA and the Central Valley

• Field-based About My Client My client is a growing, vertically integrated real estate development and construction company based in Fresno. Their team handles projects from start to finish: land planning, entitlements, design, construction management, capital and asset management. They build and renovate retail, restaurant, grocery, medical, hospitality and commercial spaces across California's Central Valley. They're a close-knit, fast-moving team that values quality work, accountability and people who take ownership of their projects. The Role My client is looking for an experienced Construction Foreman to lead tenant improvement (TI) projects across multiple job sites at the same time. This person will be the on-site leader who keeps each TI build on schedule, on budget and up to standard, from demolition and rough-in through finishes, final inspections and tenant turnover. Typical projects include restaurant and food-service buildouts, retail and grocery suites, medical and office spaces, and other commercial interiors. This role requires at least 5 years of construction foreman or lead experience, with a strong background in commercial tenant improvements. What You'll Do Site leadership (multiple TI projects) Lead day-to-day field operations on several tenant improvement sites at once Plan and sequence the work so each site keeps moving Direct and coordinate subcontractors and trades, including framing, drywall, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, flooring, millwork and finishes Hold each site to high standards for quality, safety and cleanliness Schedule and coordination Keep the project schedule on track and report progress, delays and risks to the Project Manager Coordinate material deliveries, equipment and trade start dates Communicate with property managers, tenants and building owners about site access, working hours and disruptions to occupied spaces Quality, inspections and closeout Read and interpret plans, specifications and scopes of work Schedule and walk city and building inspections, and resolve correction items quickly Review work for quality, and manage punch lists through final completion Support closeout and tenant turnover so each space is ready on time Safety and compliance Enforce jobsite safety standards and OSHA requirements Run toolbox talks and make sure each site stays secure and organized Make sure work follows approved plans, permits and local code Documentation and reporting Complete daily reports, site logs and progress photos Track changes in field conditions and flag possible change orders to the Project Manager Keep clear, timely communication with the office team What My Client Is Looking For At least 5 years of experience as a construction foreman or superintendent Strong commercial tenant improvement experience. Restaurant, retail, medical or grocery TI is a plus. A proven ability to manage several job sites at the same time Solid knowledge of construction methods, trade sequencing and building codes Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specs Experience coordinating subcontractors and walking inspections Strong leadership, problem-solving and communication skills Comfortable with basic technology: email, phone, photo documentation and scheduling tools Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel between sites across the Central Valley OSHA 30 certification preferred Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus Why Join Steady work on a pipeline of commercial projects across the region Direct support from an experienced project management and office team A company that handles everything from development to construction, with room to grow A collaborative, local team working on projects that shape the
Central Valley Pay:
