Project Manager A well-established heavy civil and site development contractor is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex earthwork, grading, roadway, and infrastructure projects throughout California and the Western U.S. The company has more than four decades of experience delivering public and private sector projects and is recognized for its expertise in grading, excavation, site development, soil cement, and heavy equipment operations. This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for a project manager who understands heavy civil operations and can successfully manage multiple projects, clients, and field teams. What You'll Do Manage heavy civil projects from preconstruction through closeout Oversee project budgets, schedules, forecasting, and cost controls Lead contract administration, change management, and client communications Coordinate with superintendents, foremen, subcontractors, and vendors Monitor production, equipment utilization, and project performance Identify and mitigate project risks while maintaining profitability Develop and maintain strong relationships with owners, agencies, and project stakeholders Mentor junior project management staff and support operational growth What We're Looking For 8+ years of project management experience in heavy civil construction Strong background in earthwork, grading, excavation, roadways, site development, or infrastructure projects Experience with public works and private-sector projects Strong understanding of project financial management and scheduling Ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills Preferred Experience Mass grading Roadway construction Utility infrastructure Soil cement operations Airport, industrial, or site development projects Union contractor environment preferred What's Offered Competitive base salary Annual performance bonus Vehicle allowance or company vehicle Established backlog of heavy civil work Long-term career growth with a respected contractor Strong field and executive support What's Offered Competitive base salary Annual bonus opportunity Comprehensive benefits package Long-term career growth with a stable and growing organization Opportunity to lead impactful, high-visibility projects For this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
