About the
Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced Superintendent to lead field operations on major water treatment plant projects in the San Francisco Bay Area. This is a leadership-heavy role for a seasoned construction professional with deep experience in large-scale water and/or wastewater treatment facilities. The Superintendent will be responsible for overall site performance, coordination of crews, subcontractors, and construction sequencing on a complex, high-profile project.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead daily field operations on a large water treatment plant project
  • Manage foremen, craft labor, and subcontractors to maintain schedule and quality
  • Work closely with the project management team on planning and execution
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements
  • Troubleshoot constructability issues and field challenges
  • Oversee documentation, reporting, and coordination with SCVWD representatives
  • Maintain productive relationships with owners, inspectors, and stakeholders
  • Required operation of company trucks or vehicles
  • Other duties may be assigned
Requirements:
  • Experience working for a contractor as a Superintendent
  • 10 + years of experience, in which 5 years' experience is in the construction of a water treatment plant
  • 5 + years' experience in construction of and /or wastewater treatment plant with at least 25 mgd
  • 5 + years of experience as a General superintendent in the construction of a major facility
Valid Driver's License Salary:
