Supervise on-site teams, including subcontractors and crew members, fostering a collaborative environment focused on safety and productivity. Review and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and construction documents to ensure accurate implementation of project specifications. Oversee construction safety management in compliance with OSHA regulations and federal safety standards; conduct regular safety audits. Manage project budgets, track costs, and implement cost control measures to maximize profitability. Ensure strict adherence to construction regulations, contracts, and quality control procedures throughout all project phases. Utilize tools such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, HeavyBid, and other construction management software for project documentation, scheduling, bidding, and reporting. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, address issues promptly, and maintain high safety standards. Review construction drawings for accuracy; coordinate with engineers and architects to resolve technical challenges. Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to keep all stakeholders informed of project status. Implement rigorous quality control measures; perform inspections using tools like ohmmeters when necessary for electrical or technical assessments. Experience Proven experience in heavy commercial construction management with a strong track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget. Extensive knowledge of construction scheduling software such as Primavera P6; experience with Primavera P6 is essential. Demonstrated ability to manage large teams in a fast-paced environment; supervising experience is required. Deep understanding of construction regulations including OSHA standards and federal safety regulations; experience implementing safety programs is preferred. Strong background in interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and construction documents; proficiency with Bluebeam is advantageous. Experience with cost estimation tools like HeavyBid; familiarity with managing project budgets from inception through completion is necessary. Skilled in managing contracts, procurement processes, and subcontractor negotiations to ensure project efficiency. Familiarity with pipeline management for ongoing projects; ability to coordinate multiple concurrent projects seamlessly. Excellent managerial communication skills—able to lead teams effectively while maintaining clear lines of communication across all levels of the organization.
