ABOUT BOSS HOMES
Boss Homes is a California HCD-certified modular housing manufacturer building faster, smarter, and more affordable homes and communities. From our Los Angeles-area factory, we deliver fully finished modular units and built-on-site shell and core systems for developers, builders, nonprofits, and municipalities across California.
THE ROLE
We're looking for an experienced Construction Project Coordinator to support execution across multiple residential and community housing projects. You'll work directly alongside our Senior Project Manager and our site Foreman — handling the coordination layer that keeps projects on schedule, clients informed, and documentation tight. This is a defined growth track. High performers will take on increasing project ownership over approximately two years, with a structured path to becoming a Project Manager.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Client communication
  • Support the Senior Project Manager as a day-to-day client contact; relay updates, track open items, and escalate promptly
  • Provide clear, professional schedule and milestone updates
  • Maintain a professional and responsive presence throughout the project lifecycle Subcontractor & vendor coordination
  • Coordinate scheduling, scopes, and deliverables with subcontractors and vendors
  • Work closely with the site Foreman, who manages field crew and day-to-day labor
  • Track progress and proactively follow up to keep work moving Documentation & schedule
  • Manage RFIs, submittals, drawings, and project records
  • Maintain and update project schedules; track milestones and flag slippage early
  • Facilitate factory-to-field communication and coordination
  • Log change orders, cost impacts, receipts, and invoices Project execution support
  • Assist the Senior Project Manager across multiple concurrent projects
  • Read and interpret construction drawings to support coordination
  • Identify gaps, risks, and inefficiencies early and escalate as needed
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
  • 2-5 years in construction coordination or a similar role
  • Experience on multi-unit or residential projects preferred
  • Strong working knowledge of Bluebeam and Excel
  • Ability to read and understand construction drawings
  • Familiarity with construction sequencing and basic building systems
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, ownership mindset, client-facing polish
