Take overall responsibility for the direction, completion, and financial outcome of complex construction projects with revenues of $50 million and above. Perform accurate project revenue and cost financial forecasting to ensure corporate profitability goals are met and projects run at or above expected margins. Coordinate with estimators and project controls to establish budgets and participate in bid review and bid closing to ensure accuracy and evaluate project feasibility. Coordinate with the large project executive, construction manager, and project team to develop a comprehensive plan for project startup and successful kickoff. Develop, manage, and maintain project schedules, budgets, cost reports, and forecasts to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery. Create an environment where dynamic project communication occurs between Project Engineers, Foremen, Superintendents, and the Construction Manager to ensure work is accomplished efficiently, profitably, and safely. Serve as the primary client contact, maintaining strong relationships with public agencies, municipalities, and general contractors throughout the project lifecycle. Coordinate with field superintendents, foremen, subcontractors, and crews to ensure work is executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with contract documents. Review and negotiate subcontracts, purchase orders, and change orders; manage project procurement and material logistics. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field; equivalent work experience in heavy civil construction considered. Minimum 10 years of progressive project experience in heavy civil construction environments. Strong knowledge of contract documents, change order management, and public agency procurement processes. Proficiency in project management software such as Procore, Primavera P6, or similar tools.
