Controls the time, cost and quality of construction projects, from residential, commercial and industrial buildings to roads, bridges and schools. Plans and coordinate all aspects of the construction process, including hiring contractors and working with engineers, architects and vendors.

Job Description

We are looking for a Project Manager Assistant who is responsible for assisting the Project Managers in all tasks required for a project from conception to completion.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Managing and coordinating multiple project efforts simultaneously Providing administrative support for the Project Manager and Project Superintendent by completing tasks such as but not limited to filing paperwork, submitting applications, obtaining approvals, pulling permits, and following up in a timely manner Creating and maintaining accurate project schedules and budgets Reviewing plans and specifications to gain a strong understanding of the project Managing subcontractor paperwork such as scope of work, invoices, and change orders Assisting the Contracts Department in collecting and reviewing subcontractor bids Coordinating with the Project Managers to help plan and achieve project milestones and schedules Acting as a secondary point of contact for the project for all internal departments as well as outside consultants and subcontractors
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering or related field preferred Familiarity with construction practices, general building codes, and various building types Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment without sacrificing quality Self-motivated to meet deadlines and improve processes and deliverables Must be a team player to effectively collaborate with Project Managers and team members Responsible, willing to learn, detail oriented, and highly organized Able to prioritize and multitask effectively Excellent verbal, written, and graphic communication skills Computer literate in Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, presentations, and charts/graphs Coastal Community Builders (CCB) is a California development company building on a tradition of value, quality craftsmanship and homeowner satisfaction.
