Duties Assist the Superintendent in overseeing daily construction activities on residential sites, ensuring adherence to project schedules and safety protocols Coordinate and manage subcontractors and crew members to maintain productivity and quality standards throughout each phase of construction Review construction drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications to ensure accurate interpretation and implementation on-site Monitor construction schedules using project management software to keep projects on track Conduct regular site inspections to verify compliance with OSHA regulations and federal safety standards, addressing any safety concerns promptly Manage procurement processes by reviewing contracts and purchase orders within systems to ensure timely delivery of materials Supervise quality control measures, including inspecting workmanship and materials Facilitate communication between project teams, clients, and vendors to resolve issues swiftly and maintain project momentum Skills Extensive experience with construction management software for scheduling and documentation Strong understanding of construction regulations including OSHA standards and federal safety requirements for residential sites Proven ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and technical drawings accurately Skilled in project scheduling, budget management, and managing multiple tasks simultaneously within tight deadlines Demonstrated leadership in supervising teams on construction sites with excellent crew management skills Effective managerial communication skills to coordinate with diverse teams and stakeholders clearly and confidently Hands-on experience in construction safety management, quality control procedures, and managing construction schedules effectively This role is perfect for motivated professionals eager to grow their managerial expertise in residential construction while making a tangible impact on community development.
