Job Description
SUPERINTENDENT
The Superintendent assumes all responsibility for managing the day to day operations on the jobsite, including coordination of workers, materials and equipment.ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITES
Maintain safe, efficient, presentable conditions on site Ensure houses are built in accordance of the plans and with a high quality of workmanship Hold subcontractors to scope of work Schedule subcontractors and ensure houses are completed on time and to specifications Communicate effectively with sales and office staff Supervise Assistant Superintendent and Laborers Complete all required inspections Maintain excellent relationships with city, county, and state agencies Ensure SWPPS regulations are followed Report progress/issues to Construction Manager and/or Project Manager in a timely mannerQUALIFICATIONS
College degree in Construction Management preferred 5+ years of production homebuilding experience required (as Superintendent or Assistant) Experience in site work highly desired Computer literate, familiar with MS Word/Excel/Outlook Excellent communication skills with various levels of staff and subcontractors Excellent organization & time management skills required Team player with strong work ethic Ability to handle stress effectively, and coordinate multiple projects & people efficiently Excellent attention to detail, quick thinker and problem solver Bilingual Spanish preferred OSHA Training SWPPS Training Please submit your resume and cover letter, noting in the subject line the title of the position.
