Job Description
Job Summary Join our dynamic team, where you will play a vital role in managing nookkeeping, financial and administrative operations within the construction and project management environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the smooth flow of project processes, financial record-keeping, and accounting processes. You will be instrumental in supporting project teams and owners by ensuring accurate bookkeeping, timely processing of invoices and payments, and maintaining comprehensive financial records aligned with industry standards. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will help drive efficiency and accountability across our projects. Responsibilities Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely invoice processing and payment reconciliation using accounting software such as QuickBooks or similar systems Prepare and record journal entries, bank reconciliations, and general ledger adjustments in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) standards Conduct balance sheet reconciliation and account analysis to verify accuracy of financial data Maintain accurate records of payroll processing, including deductions, benefits administration, and compliance with relevant regulations Support budgeting activities by tracking expenses against project budgets and preparing financial reports for review Utilize spreadsheets extensively for data entry, financial analysis, and reporting purposes Assist with project management, coordination, documentation management, including contract administration, change orders, and progress billing Experience Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks, or similar platforms Strong understanding of construction processes and concepts and bookkeeping Knowledge of financial reporting writing and account analysis techniques Ability to interpret financial statements Prior experience working with spreadsheets for budgeting and financial analysis is highly preferred, contracts and change orders Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to excellence in construction administration and financial management.
