You will oversee project planning, scheduling, estimating, take-offs, budgeting, implementation, and ensure proper billings are generated on each project assigned.Responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of construction project from planning to implementation Allocate resources for assigned projects Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients Negotiate with contractors to receive reasonable order costs Aid in maximizing the profitability of the company by helping complete construction on time and on budget for the day-to-day operations of the construction site. Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications Train, evaluate, and discipline all subordinates to the position, in accordance with company policies and procedures. Ensure project assistants receive proper and continuing training form all that senior them in job skills. Create contracts and support information needed to secure work. Monitor budgets and operational reports to determine that operations in your area of direct control are running at or below budget, make any changes needed to attain the costs and expense goals. Review weekly assignments and staffing levels, report the status to the Director of Construction and/or President, for each job in accordance with company policies and procedures. Review work schedules and timecards for accuracy and proper compensation.
