•Are you a seasoned construction professional with a penchant for excellence and a knack for leadership? Our company is seeking a Superintendent/Senior Superintendent to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities:
As a Superintendent/Senior Superintendent, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to: 1. Overseeing all stages of project life cycle and ensuring that projects are completed within time and budget constraints. 2. Supervising the construction process to ensure all safety and quality control standards are met. 3. Coordinating and directing construction workers and subcontractors, ensuring they fully understand expectations and responsibilities. 4. Reviewing work progress on a daily basis and resolving any arising issues or delays. 5. Collaborating with architects, engineers, and other construction and building specialists. 6. Ensuring all legal requirements, building and safety codes, safety inspections, city guidelines, and local and state regulations are met. 7. Preparing internal and external reports pertaining to job status and progress. 8. Implementing strategies to prevent delays and stay on schedule and budget. 9. Conducting regular meetings with project teams and stakeholders, reporting on progress, obstacles, and solutions.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Permanent Superintendent/Senior Superintendent position should possess the following qualifications: 1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a superintendent role within the construction industry, with a significant part of that experience being in healthcare construction. 2. A bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field is preferred. 3. An in-depth understanding of construction procedures, materials, and project management principles. 4. Excellent knowledge of construction safety regulations and procedures. 5. Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and manage teams effectively. 6. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. 7. Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail. 8. Proficiency in construction management software and other relevant computer applications. 9. Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and construction documents. 10. A proven track record of completing projects to specifications and within budget and timeline. 11. Current with latest construction industry trends, materials, and customer preferences.
