The ideal candidate must hold a valid CSLB (California State License Board) license for either B General Contractor , C-6 (cabinetry, millwork & finish carpentry ), or D-28 (door gates & activating devices) as a Responsible Managing Employee (RME). This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee interior door replacement projects, manage multidisciplinary teams, and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards. As a key leader, you will drive project success through strategic planning, effective resource management, and fostering a culture of safety, excellence, and high homeowner satisfaction ratings . Your expertise will help shape the future of our replacement door initiatives, delivering high-quality results on time and within budget. Responsibilities Lead and coordinate multiple door replacement projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to project schedules, budgets, and quality standards. Manage and oversee project teams, subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure seamless communication and collaboration across all phases of construction. Develop detailed project plans using advanced project proprietary management software and digital 3-d scanning of the existing door jambs. Ensure all construction activities comply with local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards. Review homeowner contracts, and specifications to verify accuracy and feasibility before project execution. Monitor project costs regularly to manage budgets effectively while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Oversee procurement processes for materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery aligned with project timelines. Lead project scheduling efforts by coordinating construction schedules with stakeholders to optimize workflow and resource allocation. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, resolve issues promptly, and uphold safety protocols. Maintain comprehensive documentation including progress reports, incident logs, change orders, and regulatory compliance records. Skills Proven experience in managing installation teams, inside sales from leads to converted appointments for our outside sales reps. Having experience in inhome selling is a hugh plus for managing our inhome sales consultants. Extensive knowledge of home improvement industry, safety standards, and General and Adminitrative duties. Ability to lead diverse teams such as Installation, marketing, sales, canvassing, events, and administrative effectively while fostering a collaborative work environment focused on safety and quality and profitability. Strong organizational skills with excellent time management capabilities to prioritize tasks efficiently under tight deadlines. Experience managing complex budgets and controlling costs without compromising project integrity.
