Job Description

Summary We are representing a fast-growing residential builder and mechanical contractor seeking an experienced Plumbing Project Manager to oversee ground-up and rehab projects across both multifamily and single-family developments and some commercial as well. The ideal candidate brings a deep understanding of plumbing systems, construction sequencing, and field coordination, and thrives in a fast-paced environment balancing multiple projects simultaneously. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced superintendents, estimators, and field crews on high-volume residential projects across the region. Key Responsibilities Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of residential plumbing scopes from preconstruction through closeout Serve as the main point of contact between internal teams, subcontractors, and clients Review and validate drawings, specs, shop drawings, and submittals for accuracy and constructability Prepare and manage project schedules, material procurement, and long-lead item tracking Oversee field coordination, manpower allocation, and installation sequencing across active jobs Track project budgets, provide updates on cost-to-complete, and manage change orders Conduct job walks and site visits to ensure quality, compliance, and progress benchmarks are being met Coordinate inspections, testing, and final punchlist activities for turnover Support estimating and preconstruction for new project bids or addenda pricing Preferred Qualifications 4+ years of experience managing plumbing scopes on ground-up residential projects (multifamily or high-volume single-family homes, and or commercial) Strong understanding of UPC/plumbing code, construction best practices, and local inspection protocols Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in the $1M-$10M+ range Comfortable working in both field and office environments, with flexibility to travel to job sites as needed Proficient with construction software such as Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office
