This is not a position where you will do the same simple task all day. We need someone who can learn multiple functions within our manufacturing operation, work with different types of equipment, perform general production and labor duties when needed, and ultimately be trained to operate more sophisticated manufacturing machinery. The right person does not necessarily need experience with our specific equipment. What matters is that you are mechanically inclined, understand how machines and processes work, are comfortable learning new equipment, and can follow a production process accurately from beginning to end. Responsibilities Learn to operate and eventually take responsibility for manufacturing equipment and machinery Follow established production processes, procedures, and safety requirements Perform equipment setup, adjustments, and basic troubleshooting Recognize when equipment or a production process is not operating correctly Assist with general manufacturing, production, material handling, and labor as needed Measure, monitor, and maintain consistency throughout the production process Keep equipment and work areas clean and organized Work with other team members to keep production moving efficiently Be willing to learn multiple jobs and take on additional responsibilities What We Are Looking For Strong mechanical aptitude Previous experience operating machinery, production equipment, automotive equipment, construction equipment, or similar mechanical systems is a plus Comfortable using tools and working with your hands Able to understand processes and follow detailed instructions Good problem-solving ability Reliable and able to work independently once trained Willing to perform both skilled machine work and general production/labor tasks Ability to learn quickly and retain training Someone who takes responsibility for the equipment and the quality of the work being produced This is a GREAT opportunity for someone who enjoys machinery, understands how things work, and wants to develop into a skilled equipment operator rather than simply perform basic general labor.
