ABOUT THE ROLE

The Site Coordinator is responsible for leading the daily operations of a high-quality before- or after-school program.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Lead and supervise daily program activities including academic support, character development, arts, STEM, and super service. Maintain compliance with state regulations, YMCA policies, and safety protocols. Foster strong communication with families and school personnel. Perform regular site inspections and drills. Conduct performance reviews for site staff. Maintain accurate records including attendance, supply requests, and program documents. Attend all required trainings and staff meetings. Support YMCA special events such but not limited to Healthy Kids Day and the Christmas Parade.QUALIFICATIONS
3 years of experience working with school-aged children in educational or youth development settings. Completion of 72 quarter or 48 semester college units or passing scores on the NCLB exam. 1+ years of staff supervision experience required. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills. Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus. Must have reliable transportation and availability for assigned shifts. CPR, First Aid, and Child Abuse Prevention certifications required within 30 days of hire.YMCA Competencies:
