Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Construction Project Manager specializing in outdoor remodeling projects to lead and oversee complex infrastructure and landscape enhancements in the San Diego, CA area. In this role, you will coordinate all phases of construction projects, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Your expertise will drive project success from initial planning through completion, inspiring teams and managing resources effectively to transform outdoor spaces into stunning, functional environments. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional passionate about outdoor construction and project leadership. Responsibilities Lead the planning, scheduling, and execution of outdoor remodeling projects, including landscape enhancements, hardscaping, fencing, decking, and other exterior improvements Develop detailed project plans utilizing construction management software such as ProCore, Primavera P6, or Microsoft Project to ensure accurate timelines and resource allocation Manage project budgets by tracking costs, reviewing estimates, and controlling expenses to maximize efficiency and profitability Coordinate with clients, architects, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure clear communication and seamless project flow Oversee construction site activities to ensure adherence to safety protocols, building codes, environmental regulations, and quality standards Read blueprints and construction plans accurately to guide on-site execution and verify compliance with design specifications Monitor project progress through regular site inspections, updating schedules using tools like Primavera P6 or Prolog to maintain momentum and address issues proactively Requirements Proven experience managing outdoor remodeling projects or similar outdoor construction initiatives in a commercial or residential setting Strong knowledge of construction scheduling software such as ProCore, Primavera P6, Bluebeam, HeavyBid or similar tools Expertise in construction estimating, cost management, and budget control for large-scale projects Extensive understanding of construction regulations, safety standards, permits, and environmental compliance specific to outdoor infrastructure work in California Skilled in blueprint reading and interpreting construction plans for landscape architecture and exterior improvements Demonstrated ability to manage teams effectively on-site while coordinating multiple subcontractors and vendors Excellent project management skills including time management, contract administration, project scheduling coordination, and risk mitigation Familiarity with civil engineering software like Civil 3D is a plus for projects involving complex infrastructure components Strong communication skills to lead project meetings, prepare reports, and liaise with stakeholders confidently Join us if you're ready to lead innovative outdoor remodeling projects that transform landscapes into extraordinary spaces!
