Construction asistant Project Manager D&D Home remodeling San Jose, CA Job Details Full-time $22 - $30 an hour 8 hours ago Qualifications Schedule management Driver's License Attention to detail Construction industry experience Project management software Full Job Description Project Coordinator - Residential Construction D&D Home Remodeling is looking for a highly organized and proactive Project Coordinator to support our Operations Manager and help coordinate multiple residential construction and remodeling projects throughout the Bay Area. This position is ideal for someone who understands construction, communicates well with subcontractors and field crews, stays on top of schedules and materials, and knows how to make sure nothing falls through the cracks. Responsibilities Support the Operations Manager with day-to-day project coordination Track multiple active remodeling and construction projects Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, field crews, and deliveries Maintain and update project schedules Follow up on open tasks and make sure deadlines are met Confirm subcontractor arrival times and upcoming work Track material orders, deliveries, missing items, and lead times Coordinate inspections and site appointments Visit job sites when necessary to check progress and identify issues Make sure project photos and daily updates are completed Keep project management systems updated with accurate information Communicate project updates internally with the Operations Manager, office, designer, and field team Help identify scheduling conflicts before they become delays Escalate important construction or client issues to management Assist with change orders, project documentation, and subcontractor coordination Help ensure projects remain organized, clean, and on schedule What We Are Looking For Construction or remodeling experience strongly preferred Experience coordinating multiple projects at the same time Strong organizational and follow-up skills Excellent communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Comfortable communicating with subcontractors and field crews Detail-oriented and reliable Able to identify problems and take initiative Comfortable using project management software and technology Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to travel between job sites throughout the Bay Area Preferred Experience Experience with residential remodeling, kitchens, bathrooms, additions, ADUs, or full-home renovations is a major plus. Experience working as a Project Coordinator, Assistant Project Manager, Project Engineer, Construction Coordinator, Field Coordinator, or Construction Project Assistant is preferred. About D&D Home Remodeling D&D Home Remodeling is a growing Bay Area design-build and residential remodeling company specializing in kitchens, bathrooms, full-home renovations, additions, ADUs, and larger residential construction projects. We are building a strong operations team and are looking for someone who wants to grow with the company and take on increasing responsibility over time. This position will work closely with our Operations Manager and can develop into a Project Manager role for the right person. Job Type Full-time Work Environment This is not a fully remote position. The role includes a combination of office work and job-site visits throughout the Bay Area. Compensation Competitive compensation based on construction experience and qualifications.
