San Francisco Bay Area, CA Following continued project growth and a strong backlog of secured work, we are seeking an experienced Superintendent to join a leading Heavy Civil contractor delivering complex wastewater, water infrastructure, and underground utility projects across the Bay Area. This is an opportunity to join a well-established contractor with a reputation for delivering major public works projects safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards. You'll play a key role overseeing field operations on significant infrastructure schemes ranging from wastewater treatment facilities to large-scale pipeline and utility installations. Responsibilities Lead all on-site construction activities from start-up through completion. Coordinate subcontractors, self-perform crews, equipment, and materials. Drive project schedules and ensure milestones are achieved. Maintain the highest standards of safety and compliance. Work closely with Project Managers, Engineers, Owners, and Inspectors. Manage daily planning, manpower, productivity, and site logistics. Conduct site meetings, toolbox talks, and progress reporting. Ensure quality control and adherence to project specifications. Requirements 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent on Heavy Civil construction projects. Strong background in wastewater, water treatment, underground utilities, pipelines, pump stations, or municipal infrastructure. Proven ability to manage field teams on projects valued at $10M+. Knowledge of scheduling, construction sequencing, and productivity management. Strong leadership and communication skills. OSHA 30 certification preferred. What's on Offer Competitive base salary.
