Branch Manager - Santa Clara, CA Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-4:00 PM We are looking for someone to run our construction supply location in Santa Clara. This is a hands-on job. You'll be working directly with contractors and customers, handling sales, keeping track of inventory, receiving freight, loading orders and generally making sure the branch runs the way it should. For now, you'll be the only employee at this location, so we're looking for someone who is comfortable working on their own and taking ownership of the store. If something needs to get done, we're looking for someone who sees it and handles it. We're looking for someone fluent in both English and Spanish, as you'll regularly work with customers in both languages. What you'll be doing Counter and phone sales Taking care of customers and building relationships with local contractors Helping grow the Santa Clara location Helping customers select the right products for their jobs Pulling and loading orders Receiving and putting away freight Operating a forklift Keeping inventory accurate and letting us know what needs to be reordered Keeping the warehouse and showroom clean and organized Handling the normal day-to-day paperwork that comes with running a branch Working with our main office on inventory, purchasing and customer needs What we're looking for. Construction supply, concrete, coatings or similar industry experience is preferred. More importantly, we're looking for someone who is dependable, good with customers and comfortable running a location without constant supervision. You should be comfortable with computers, basic inventory and warehouse work. Forklift experience is preferred, but we can train the right person. Physical Requirements. This is an active warehouse and sales position. You must be able to perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, including standing, walking, bending and regularly lifting and moving products weighing up to 50 lbs.
