• Public Works Requirements & Qualifications Minimum 10 years of construction experience; at least 5 years in water treatment plant projects 5+ years in construction of water and/or wastewater treatment plants of at least 25 mgd 5+ years as a general superintendent on major facility construction Experience managing field crews, foremen, subcontractors, and project execution Valid driver's license Experience working for a contractor as a superintendent Superintendent•Public Works Preferred Background & Skills Prior work on large-scale, public-sector water infrastructure projects Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with owners, inspectors, and stakeholders Superintendent•Public Works Day-to-Day Responsibilities Lead daily field operations for a major water treatment plant project Oversee foremen, craft labor, and subcontractors to ensure adherence to schedule and quality standards Collaborate closely with project management on planning, sequencing, and execution Ensure full compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements Troubleshoot constructability issues and proactively resolve challenges onsite Oversee project documentation, field reporting, and coordination with agency representatives This is your chance to make a direct difference on a transformational infrastructure project with a team that values expertise and innovation.
