The pay rate for this job is $28 - $33 / hour• What you'll be doing as a

Landscape Construction Manager :

Has expert knowledge in all aspects of landscape construction. Hardscape (walls, patios, steps), carpentry (pergolas, decks, fences), soil health, plant care, drainage, irrigation and lighting. Must be able to manage two or more projects at a time. Must have previous estimating experience in landscape construction. Preferred permaculture background or knowledge of ecological/sustainable landscaping. Must be able to interpret design and layout in the field for the foreman. Must be responsible for Safety meetings and OSHA compliance. Facilitating regular weekly meetings with clients and owner Must be in regular communication with clients, including getting their approval with all change orders prior to commencing work. Has previous experience programming irrigation controllers. Demonstrates reliable teamwork and leadership skills. Cares to share their knowledge and can teach their skills to the team. Demonstrated ability to complete jobs within their given time allotment while staying organized. Ability to respond to common inquiries, requests, or issues from customers. Ability to effectively communicate, in English, both verbally and in writing. Has some Spanish speaking knowledge. Desires and has ability to work outside in all conditions. Proven ability to resolve field problems and equipment problems. Is able to stay organized and can use Google workspace, Dropbox and other project management tools.

Job Requirements:

Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required Minimum 3 years of Project Management experience Minimum 5 years of landscaping experience Minimum 3 years of construction experience Must be hardworking, dependable, energetic, and trustworthy Ability to follow directions and work extended hours in various weather conditions Ability to supervise, train, and motivate field staff and crews Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills Project Management certification preferred Landscape Industry Certified Technician certification preferred Certified Landscape Technician in Irrigation (CLT-I) preferred Permaculture Design Certificate is a plus Experience with sustainable or ecological landscaping practices preferred Ready to take control of the way you work?
