The Company Basecamp Builders is a design-build contractor focused on high-quality residential construction and thoughtful design in the Lake Tahoe region. Based in Tahoe City, we have projects in both North Lake Tahoe and Truckee. Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual with construction/carpentry experience to join our team as Project Coordinator. Candidates must be comfortable managing multiple priorities. We are particularly interested in someone who enjoys both field and office work as the position may include a combination of both. This is a position you can grow into and is a great opportunity for someone who wants to continue building their career in construction. Responsibilities Facilitate effective communication with staff by organizing meetings, preparing task lists, and maintaining clear records of project updates and decisions. Coordinate daily construction activities, supporting project managers with administrative and organizational tasks. Assist with project timeline and budget management by tracking progress and following up on outstanding tasks as needed. Monitor project progress through site visits and inspections. Manage project documentation including change orders, progress reports, and employee time records. Fill-in carpentry work on projects as needed. Qualifications Experience in carpentry and understanding of construction site operations. Proficient with computers and comfortable using project management software. A strong interest in project administration, cost control, and project planning within the construction industry. Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently. An understanding of construction processes, materials, and job site coordination is highly valuable.
