A Construction Superintendent runs day-to-day operations on a construction site and controls the short-term schedule on the site. Also performs important quality control and coordinates subcontractors. Often works in cooperation with construction project manager.
We are seeking an experienced Telecom Foreman to lead construction crews and subcontractors in the successful buildout of wireless cell sites. This role involves overseeing daily site activities, ensuring safety compliance, and managing both civil construction and possibly some antenna & line (A&L) installations. The ideal candidate has a strong background in telecom construction, excels at coordinating teams, and is committed to delivering quality work on time and within budget.
Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage subcontractors and teams Coordinate and establish daily activities of construction crews with the construction/project managers Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety regulations. Job safety responsibilities include but are not limited to: risk assessments, developing appropriate measures to mitigate hazards, conveying information to employees and subs by setting good examples, instructing them, and making sure they fully understand and follow safe procedures and implement disciplinary measures if necessary, cooperating with and participating in scheduled safety meetings, audits, and assessments Monitor progress and quality of work, making adjustments as necessary Collaborate with team and subcontractors to resolve any issues that arise Post permits and plans on sites Oversee construction of cell sites to ensure quality of work that is produced under budget, on schedule, and to the carrier's satisfaction Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to OSHA standards and safety protocols Coordinate and oversee antenna and line (A&L) installations, ensuring proper mounting, weatherproofing, grounding, and testing Verify coax, hybrid, and fiber lines are installed to spec and perform sweep/PIM testing as required Ensure all tower or rooftop work meets structural and RF safety standards

Requirements:
Proven experience as a supervisor or similar role in the construction industry Strong knowledge of telecom construction methods, including civil and antenna and line (A&L) work Hands-on experience with antenna and line installation, troubleshooting, and Sweep, PIM and Fiber testing preferred Able to effectively direct a crew and subcontractors and prioritize tasks Strong ability to communicate with managers Flexible schedule Ability to lift, bend, and perform other manual tasks Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail Driver's License and clean DMV record
Schedule:
Flexible dependent of work schedules and project demands Typically Monday through Friday, weekends may be required depending on job conditions
