Our 13 locations provide sales and rentals of quality construction equipment, tools, and vehicles. This is a full-time exempt (salaried) position. Ensure the branch is properly positioned to conduct business daily
  • cash control, inventory control, security, reporting, full opening and closing procedures Promote a safe and sanitary work environment that protects the company's associates, customers, the community, and the environment from injury or damage Confirm safety and control of the fleet through physical inventories and periodic checks Compliance with the company's procedures and policies as well as offer suggestions for improvement Maintain the company's asset fleet in a safe, clean and mechanically sound condition Represent the company to all customers in dealings occurring during the normal course of business Promote a substance (drug & alcohol) and harassment free work environment by not engaging in prohibited activities and reporting to Human Resources any which may occur Coordinate sales efforts with outside sales staff in a manner that enhances sales & promotes a high level of service to our customers Profit & loss responsibility for the branch under your direction Maintain visually pleasing esthetic of merchandise in showroom and yard equipment to enhance the customer service experience Follow up with customers regarding rentals and commission new jobs as necessary and use knowledge of equipment to increase sales and drive business Can work well with others; think critically and analytically and successfully negotiate with customers and vendors On occasion work at a sales counter handling phone calls and walk-in customers Schedule work orders and complete customer contracts On occasion help in the yard providing excellent customer service and equipment•loading and unloading as well as servicing and delivering Requirements 18 years or older Valid driver's license with a clean record Valid proof of eligibility to work in the USA High school diploma or equal equivalent Minimum 5 years management experience Mechanical aptitude and knowledge of construction equipment Proven track record of success in current or previous employment role Effective communication both written and verbal•Bilingual a plus!
Professional communication with customers and company personnel at all times Computer Literacy
  • Typing and understanding computer tech and basic software (Microsoft Office, Outlook, Adobe PDF, Apple and Android, etc.
