08/17/2026 Work Schedule & Assigned Locations This is a full-time, year-round position scheduled for 5 hours per day, Monday through Friday, from 12:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. The Site Director will be responsible for overseeing operations and providing support at the following locations: Almond Court (Wasco) Solinas Village (McFarland) Las Arroyos (Farmersville) Nupchi Xo'oy (Porterville) Palm Terrace (Lindsay) Rancho Colegio (Visalia) Santa Fe Commons (Tulare) Sequoia Commons (Goshen) Sierra Village (Dinuba) Please note: This position requires regular travel between assigned sites to provide oversight, support staff, and ensure program compliance. Position Summary The Site Director is responsible for the oversight, coordination, and quality of ProYouth's after-school programming at nine assigned Self-Help Enterprises (SHE) community centers. The Site Director ensures each location provides a safe, welcoming, engaging, and consistent program that supports the academic, social, emotional, and personal development of participating youth. Under the supervision of the Area Program Manager, the Site Director provides direct supervision, training, coaching, and evaluation of Program Leader I staff assigned to each community center. The Site Director conducts regular site visits, monitors program implementation and student attendance, supports family and community engagement, ensures completion of CACFP snack requirements and program documentation, and assists staff with increasing program participation. The Site Director works closely with Program Leaders, ProYouth administration, and SHE administration to address operational needs, maintain consistent communication, ensure compliance with ProYouth and SHE policies and procedures, and support high-quality programming across all nine assigned community centers. Primary Role and Responsibilities Create a physically and emotionally safe environment for student learning to take place Establish clear, consistent expectations for behavior and positive discipline Ensure that every student feels known, accepted, valued and respected; communicating in ways that build and maintain a high level of trust Build and maintain positive relationships with ProYouth partners that support the success of our students Supports and supervises site staff to work effectively and efficiently Assist with timely completion of qualitative and quantitative data needed for compliance Address issues, concerns, challenges, and reports to the Area Program Manager in a timely manner Maintain a solution-based focus when facing challenges Complete responsibilities accurately and on time Hold everyone, including yourself, accountable for their actions Comply with ProYouth Employee Handbook and other Policies and Procedures Oversee CACFP student snack program Complete professional staff appraisals within established timeframes Other duties as assigned within the scope and range of knowledge base and training Academic Support Implement established curriculum and monitor continued application through Progress Advisor Guide and mentor Program Leaders to keep students fully engaged with assigned curriculum Develop students' written and verbal communication skills through the assigned curriculum Administer pre/post assessments including timely submittal of results Support the objective of Leadership Development with students through the assigned curriculum Expectations and Accountability Staff effectiveness will be measured in the following areas: Program objectives Data collection Student Attendance CACFP Staff attendance and development Administrative responsibilities will be completed accurately, completely and on time Maintain the highest level of confidentiality in all matters relating to students. Complete responsibilities accurately and on time Ability to communicate effectively with students, coworkers, school staff and parents Education and Experience Bachelor's Degree is preferred, High School diploma or equivalent AND 48 completed College Units OR NCLB Paraprofessional Certification A minimum of two years' experience working with youth is desirable General Requirements Must be at least 18 years of age or older. Must pass a DOJ/FBI background check. Must receive TB clearance. Must pass pre-employment drug screening. A valid California Driver's License Evidence of adequate auto insurance coverage is required. You must be listed as an ensured driver. Environmental Conditions Ability to work in multiple settings, including our lively home office, the indoor classroom environment, and active outdoor locations Physical Demands Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, perform grasping and handling motions, and torso rotations on a continuous basis to engage and guide children's classroom and playground activities. Able to lift and carry 20 pounds of materials Able to reach in all directions. Adequate sight or corrected vision for the purpose of reading directions and printed or written materials. Able to hear and speak to communicate with coworkers, students, and the public. Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate instructional equipment. Work in a classroom and outdoor environment, sometimes in adverse weather conditions
