ASSISTANT PROJECT MANAGER

We specialize in ground-up construction, tenant improvements, retail, restaurant, fuel/convenience, and medical and dental facilities. We are Class A+ bonded and built on a reputation for trusted execution and long-standing client relationships. Position Overview We are looking for an experienced Assistant Project Manager to join our growing team in Colorado Springs. This is a full-time, in-person role supporting multiple Project Managers across a range of commercial construction projects. For the right person, this role is a real path toward a full PM position as the company continues to grow. Responsibilities Support Project Managers and Superintendents in the daily coordination of commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout Manage the submittals process and track RFIs Assist with pay applications and securing final payment from ownership Update and maintain project schedules Assist with contracts, purchase orders, and invoices Lead the permitting process by identifying permit gaps and ensuring inspections are completed Request and manage Temporary Certificate of Occupancy and Certificate of Occupancy documentation Read and interpret construction plans and specifications Prepare project reports and meeting updates Assist with project buyout by preparing contracts and purchase orders Complete takeoffs as needed Manage the project closeout process Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field, or equivalent work experience Prior experience in a construction project management support role required Proficiency in Procore and Bluebeam Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, Outlook, MS Project, and Teams Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications Knowledge of AIA contracts and specification requirements Working understanding of building codes and permitting requirements Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyCompensation and Benefits Salary:
$60,000 to $85,000 depending on experience Health, dental, and vision insuranceSimple IRA PTO Pay:
