Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, with expertise in project scheduling, budgeting, and supervising teams on-site. This role requires effective communication skills and the ability to read blueprints, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget while maintaining high safety standards. Commercial Market Ground-up and large T.I. projects Commerical Big Box Large retail, offices, restaurants Duties Supervise daily operations on the construction site, ensuring that all activities are conducted safely and efficiently. Manage project schedules using tools such as Procore Oversee budgeting processes, including tracking expenses and managing resources effectively. Read and interpret blueprints to guide construction activities and ensure adherence to design specifications. Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality of work, and compliance with safety regulations. Utilize tools such as Ohmmeter for electrical testing as required on-site. Implement project management software like HeavyBid for estimating costs and managing bids effectively. Provide leadership and direction to construction teams, fostering a collaborative work environment. Requirements Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent or in a similar role within the construction industry. Strong knowledge of project scheduling techniques and software Familiarity with budgeting processes and cost management strategies. Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately. Experience supervising teams in a construction site environment. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders. Knowledge of pipeline construction is a plus but not mandatory.
