Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to join our team. The ideal candidate is a dependable, organized, and proactive construction professional with experience managing custom residential and/or light commercial projects from groundbreaking through final punch list . This position is well suited for someone who takes ownership of their projects, communicates effectively with everyone involved, and has the ability to anticipate and solve problems while keeping projects moving efficiently. Responsibilities Manage day-to-day onsite operations for 1-2 active construction projects Coordinate and oversee subcontractors, vendors, and onsite activities Plan and schedule work to maintain an efficient project workflow Monitor workmanship and maintain a high level of attention to detail and quality Communicate effectively with subcontractors, owners, architects, government officials, co-workers, and other members of the project team Understand and manage the construction process from groundbreaking through completion and final punch list Identify potential issues early and develop practical solutions that minimize schedule delays and financial impact Work independently while collaborating effectively with the project team Help maintain an organized, professional, productive, and safe jobsite Utilize computers and Microsoft software for project-related communication, documentation, and coordination Qualifications The successful candidate should have: Construction superintendent or comparable field-management experience Experience with custom residential and/or light commercial construction strongly preferred Strong knowledge of construction processes and sequencing Ability to independently manage the daily operations of multiple projects Strong planning, organization, and time-management skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work effectively with owners, architects, subcontractors, government officials, and co-workers Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Practical problem-solving skills with an emphasis on minimizing time and financial impacts to the project Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft software Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Compensation & Benefits For qualified candidates, we offer a competitive compensation package including:
