Job Description
Southwest Midwives is a private, midwife-owned practice in beautiful Southwest Colorado. We attend births at Mercy Regional Medical Center in Durango, including waterbirth and VBACs. Our patient population is mixed risk, and we have a strong collaborative relationship with our OBGYN group. We are looking to hire another full time CNM but would consider WHNP for clinic work only. The right CNM candidate will feel comfortable in a rural setting (no 24-hour in house anesthesia or OBGYN), have excellent time management and communication skills, and work well as part of a small team. First assist training upon hire. Experienced midwives preferred, but we would consider a new graduate for a 1 year CNM fellowship. Seeking another CNM to share 1:4 call and 1-2 clinic days/week. Base salary dependent on experience.
