What We're Looking For We are seeking a proactive, hands-on Construction Project Coordinator to help manage the day-to-day execution of our commercial construction projects. This person will serve as a key connection between our project managers, design team, subcontractors, vendors, clients, and the work happening in the field. The ideal candidate has experience in commercial construction and is comfortable taking ownership of a project, following up relentlessly, solving problems, and making sure details do not fall through the cracks. We are open to different levels of experience, but this is not a purely administrative role. We need someone who is comfortable on a construction site and willing to step in wherever needed to keep a project moving. For someone earlier in their career, we are looking for a true go getter who learns quickly, takes initiative, and wants to grow into greater construction management responsibility. The Work Our largest focus is turnkey workplace interiors, where Curate manages architecture, design, construction, project management, and furniture as one integrated team. This role will focus primarily on the construction side of that process. You will help oversee projects from preconstruction through closeout, spending time both coordinating the administrative side of construction and actively supporting work in the field. On any given day, that may mean coordinating subcontractors, reviewing drawings, tracking an RFI, walking a jobsite, solving a field issue, checking progress against the schedule, or making sure punch list items get completed. This role requires someone who takes ownership, communicates well, anticipates problems, and follows through until the work is complete. Responsibilities

  • Help manage construction projects from preconstruction through final closeout
  • Serve as a day-to-day point of coordination between Curate's project team, subcontractors, vendors, consultants, and field personnel
  • Regularly visit active jobsites to monitor progress, quality, safety concerns, and overall project conditions
  • Coordinate subcontractors and vendors to ensure work is occurring in the proper sequence and according to schedule
  • Track project schedules, upcoming activities, material deliveries, and critical milestones
  • Read and interpret architectural and construction drawings and identify potential field conflicts or coordination issues
  • Manage and track RFIs, submittals, change documentation, meeting notes, and other construction documentation
  • Identify issues in the field and work with the appropriate team members to develop and implement solutions
  • Communicate project status, field conditions, risks, and upcoming needs to the Project Manager and internal team
  • Help monitor project scope, budget, and schedule and flag potential impacts before they become larger problems
  • Coordinate inspections, deliveries, access, and other site logistics as needed
  • Maintain quality control throughout construction and ensure work aligns with project documents and Curate standards
  • Manage punch list development, completion, and project closeout activities
  • Build productive relationships with subcontractors while holding teams accountable for commitments, quality, and schedule
  • Step in wherever needed to help move the project forward and deliver a successful client experience The Skills
  • 2+ years of experience in commercial construction, project engineering, field supervision, project coordination, or construction management preferred
  • Candidates with less traditional experience may be considered if they demonstrate strong construction knowledge, initiative, and the ability to take ownership
  • Experience with commercial interiors, tenant improvement, or office construction strongly preferred
  • Ability to read and understand architectural and construction drawings
  • Working knowledge of construction sequencing, subcontractor coordination, and field operations
  • Comfortable working both in the office and on active construction sites
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and projects
  • Strong communication skills with clients, subcontractors, vendors, designers, and internal teams
  • Comfortable using construction and project management tools such as Sage Construction, Bluebeam, Excel, and similar platforms
  • Proactive and solutions focused with the ability to recognize an issue and take action rather than waiting for direction
  • Strong follow through and personal accountability
  • Ability to remain organized and effective when project conditions or priorities change
  • Willingness to fill in wherever needed depending on the project and the day
  • Integrity and a strong work ethic
  • Desire to continually learn, improve, and grow into greater construction leadership responsibilities What's in it for you We do great work, treat people well, and have fun.
