Superintendent position is available at Garney. As a Superintendent , you will be making a difference every day by helping Garney build work. You will have the opportunity to demonstrate your leadership skills and construction knowledge at Garney.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Lead daily self-perform yard piping operations on water and wastewater treatment plant projects. Supervise crews installing underground and above-ground process piping, utility piping, and mechanical systems. Coordinate manpower, equipment, materials, and schedules to maintain production goals. Ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and in compliance with project specifications. Collaborate with Project Managers, Engineers, inspectors, and other trades to resolve field issues. Mentor and develop field crews while promoting a strong safety culture. Negotiate and purchase materials Maintain as-built documents Act as owner and architect/engineer contact Verify and provide inventory analysis Survey construction job site
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field experience 5+ years of underground utility, process piping, or heavy civil construction experience with leadership experience as a Foreman or Superintendent. Experience leading self-perform yard piping or underground utility crews. Water/wastewater treatment plant experience preferred. Ability to read construction drawings, utility layouts, and project schedules. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork, with willingness to travel as needed.
