  • What You Will Do Serve as the primary client relationship owner across the full project lifecycle, translating client goals into clear project objectives for production teams Proactively develop new and existing client relationships, marketing JR's full suite of services to public and private clients, industry partners, and vendors Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and quality expectations, preparing and negotiating change orders as needed Prepare engineering proposals including scope, fee development, subconsultant coordination, contracts, and schedules Track marketing activity, active pursuits, and business development opportunities through quarterly reporting Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging regulations to inform pursuit strategies and improve win rates Mentor mid to senior level engineering team members and represent the Land Development group in internal strategic planning discussions Review and sign and seal engineering plans developed under your direction What You Bring Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field from an accredited institution Valid Colorado PE License, required 10+ years of civil engineering experience with client management and business development exposure Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to clients and participate in pre-application meetings Business development experience strongly preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, and PowerPoint A bit about us:•Since 1973, we have served Colorado clients across land development, surveying, transportation, water resources, and structural engineering.
