Construction Superintendent for Commercial Construction

Cross Line Construction is looking for experienced commercial construction personnel for a site superintendent. Minimum of 5 years of experience in site foreman or lead carpenter, or 2 years as an assistant site superintendent. Preferred construction Healthcare experience working in Hospitals or Clinics. Superintendent duties not limited to the items listed below. Superintendent Duties General In charge of the jobsite and the work - lead/manage the subcontractors. Owner liaison. Represent Cross Line Construction Required to be on site during construction activities. May need to work out of town and off hours. Construction Documents Understanding the scope of the construction documents for all trades. Verify the existing conditions to the construction documents. Writing (and understanding) RFI's when the construction documents conflict or do not specify scope of work. Read and understand submittals. Understand PCO's and CO's Maintain As-built drawings. Scheduling Creating, or helping to create the overall construction schedule. Produce weekly - 3-week schedules. Update overall schedule and 3 wk. schedule every week. Schedule subcontractors. Schedule material procurement and delivery. Quality Control Verifying materials specified in the construction documents for both self-perform and subcontractor work. Is the work installed in conformance with the construction documents? Does it look good? Stop work if necessary. Manpower Scheduling of company manpower as needed. Working with tools to complete self-performed tasks Coordination Subcontractor coordination. Inform Owners to keep them aware of activities on the project. Utilize your project manager for help and office related items. Safety Safety meetings or toolbox talks (weekly) with employees and trades Safety enforcement Maintaining a safe and clean environment Stop work if necessary. Superintendent Daily Tasks Open & close your job site. Manage the work on site. Communicate w/Subcontractors as necessary for current and planned work. Communicate with Owner as needed. Daily report (detailed) Timecards (if applicable) Keep PM updated on critical matters. Update 3 wk. schedule. Review correspondence as needed (email, RFI's, submittals, CO's, etc.) Clean jobsite at end of day each day. Weekly Tasks Update CPM schedule. Make sure Daily Reports and Timecards (hours and cost codes) recorded in Redteam Go and Time Tracking System. Update previous 3 wk. schedule and create new 3 wk. look ahead schedule. (send to subcontractors) Turn in receipts/expenses with cost codes to accounting. Request & schedule necessary manpower for the week ahead. Update As-built drawings. On site safety meetings/toolbox talks

Pay:

$75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
